How does NetPets.co.nz work?

Netpets is an online directory and classifieds website where any person/s who reside in NZ can post pet related ads or search for a pet, or pet-related product or service in their area.

It is free to join and costs nothing to search or contact an advertiser on the site.

NetPets is a website for New Zealand pet lovers only. Because of scam issues all ads are screened by the administrator before they are uploaded to the website.

Add us to your Website links and get listed in this category for FREE!

To qualify for a free listing in our Pet Rescue Organisation Directory, you must be a registered member of netpets, a non profit animal organisation and our link or banner must appear on your website. Once you have added our link, email us with the name of your organisation and your website and we will credit your account for six months at a time, simply contact us when your ad expires. A Bonus for your Organisation! : Adding your Organisation to our directory automatically qualifies you to be part of our "send a hug" donations feature that will be launched in the not too distant future.

Mini Websites: If you purchase a one-year directory listing (in either Breeders, Club, or Pet Experts and Services) you also have the option of purchasing a NetPets mini website. Mini Websites are hosted on the NetPets domain, and for only $419 you can have a website plus directory listing for 12 months. Sponsored Link:  Sponsors Links appear in private classifieds ads in the category selected by the advertiser. They are dircly below the contact form making thmard to miss! These links are designed for businesses who are wanting greater exposure of their products and/or services, in a particular category. Sponsors Links cost $199 for six months, or $249 for a whole year. Advertisements are 132 x 66 pixels in size and come with up to 10 FREE standard classifieds ads. Get a Sponsored Link.

Sponsored Listing:  Sponsors Listings are the large advertisements that appear on the side of the website. They appear on almost all pages and alternate randomly each time someone views a page. Currently only one Sponsored Listing is shown at a time. If someone clicks on a sponsored listing they will be redirected to the sponsor's website. This form of Promotion advertising has a huge potential to reach more veiwers because of the size of the ad. Use it for promoting Products or Services, Monthly specials or competions. You can choose to show your ad for 6 months or 12 months and you can change the content of your ad whenever you like. Note if you do change your ad it will need to be re-approved by the Netpets team before it is visible on the site again that day. Sponsors Listings cost $299 for six months, or $599 for a whole year. Recommended Products and Services: $99
Get your Products or services recommended by other users. Turn your 1 ad into thousands of views for the duration of your original listing. Your image will appear in their ad as a recommended product or service that they recommend to other browsers. All images link back to your listing. We recommend professional logo's be added to boost impact. This option can only be used once your original listing has been accepted and has been prepaid. All ads must be prepaid into your Netpets account before you can list them, unless prior arrangement has been made. Once we receive your payment we will credit your account for the amount specified. You will receive an email notifying you of your account update. These prices are all subject to change without notice.

Placing, changing and deleting classifieds ads

NetPets advertising is for New Zealand residents only.

If pet is sold before ad has finished ad may be withdrawn at no cost.

Advertisements may be edited by the seller while they are active but price cannot be raised.

We will soon be introducing an address-verified feature so buyers can make their purchase with confidence.

All ads posted must be of a pet-related nature and obscene ads will not be tolerated.

 

Responding to ads

You must be a registered user of netpets.co.nz to be able to respond to advertisements. This is to prevent abuse of the website and for everyones protection.

Your email address will be displayed to the advertiser when you contact them.

 

Inappropriate ads

Inappropriate ads will not be tolerated and any reported listings will be dealt with in a timely manner. We also do random spot checks of all listings and if an ad is found not to meet our terms and conditions it will be removed and the seller suspended permanently. There will be no refunds in this situation.
