How does NetPets.co.nz work?

Netpets is an online directory and classifieds website where any person/s who reside in NZ can post pet related ads or search for a pet, or pet-related product or service in their area.

It is free to join and costs nothing to search or contact an advertiser on the site.

NetPets is a website for New Zealand pet lovers only. Because of scam issues all ads are screened by the administrator before they are uploaded to the website.

Ad Rates

Standard classified ads: FREE! This listing includes a contact form for buyers to get in touch with you, and four images. Extra images (up to 10) cost 50c each. Ads run for 90 days and may be edited or removed by the seller at any time. Post an Ad

Featured classified ads: Currently only $4.95 for three months. These run for 90 days and feature first - above standard classifieds listings - and you can upload up to four images for this price. Extra images are .50c each.

Breeder & Club Directory: Currently $19.95 for six months, $39.95 for 12 months.   To get your name in our breeder directory it usually costs $49 for six months exposure, or $99 for one year.  This type of listing allows you to link to your own website, and have up to five photos or images in your advertisement.

Pet Experts & Services:  Currently $19.95 for six months, $39.95 for 12 months. Regular price $49 to list your business in our "experts directory" for six months. For $99 you will be listed for a whole year. For this price you may link to your own website, and upload up to five photos or images for your advertisement.

Stud Enquiries: List your stud dog for only $9.99 for a whole year in our stud dogs category.

Pet Rescue Organisations: Currently $19.95 for six months, $39.95 for 12 months.  Another directory listing dedicated entirely to our wonderful pet rescue organisations. Regular price $49 to list your organisation for six months, or $99 for one year.

To qualify for a free listing in our Pet Rescue Organisation Directory, you must be a registered member of netpets, a non profit animal organisation and our link or banner must appear on your website. Once you have added our link, email us with the name of your organisation and your website and we will credit your account for six months at a time, simply contact us when your ad expires. A Bonus for your Organisation! : Adding your Organisation to our directory automatically qualifies you to be part of our "send a hug" donations feature that will be launched in the not too distant future.

Mini Websites: If you purchase a one-year directory listing (in either Breeders, Club, or Pet Experts and Services) you also have the option of purchasing a NetPets mini website. Mini Websites are hosted on the NetPets domain, and for only $419 you can have a website plus directory listing for 12 months. Sponsored Link:  Sponsors Links appear inside private classifieds ads in the category selected by the advertiser.  These links are designed for businesses who are wanting greater exposure of their products and/or services, in a particular category. Sponsors Links cost $199 for six months, or $249 for a whole year. Advertisements are 132 x 66 pixels in size and come with 20 free standard classifieds ads. Get a Sponsored Link.

Sponsored Listing:  Sponsors Listings are the large advertisements that appear on the side of the website. They appear on almost all pages and alternate randomly each time someone views a page. Currently only one Sponsored Listing is shown at a time. If someone clicks on a sponsored listing they will be redirected to the sponsor's website. This form of advertising is primarily used by large companies, businesses or people wanting to maximise exposure of their product(s) or service(s). You can choose to show your ad for 6 months or 12 months and you can change the content of your ad whenever you like. Note if you do change your ad it will need to be re-approved by the Netpets team before it is visible on the site again due to the sheer exposure of the advertisement.  Sponsors Listings cost $299 for six months, or $599 for a whole year. Get your Products or services recommended

Why not let your faithful followers recommend your business to other potential customers? It only costs $199 for a product listing or $99 for a business listing for as long as your Pet services/Experts Directory listing runs. For that price you will receive a link, your original Directory image and anyone who uses Netpets to advertise can click on your logo and your image will appear in their ad as a recommended product or service that they recommend to other browsers.

Placing, changing and deleting classifieds ads

NetPets advertising is for New Zealand residents only.

If pet is sold before ad has finished ad may be withdrawn at no cost.

Advertisements may be edited by the seller while they are active but price cannot be raised.

We will soon be introducing an address-verified feature so buyers can make their purchase with confidence.

All ads posted must be of a pet-related nature and obscene ads will not be tolerated.

 

Responding to ads

You must be a registered user of netpets.co.nz to be able to respond to advertisements. This is to prevent abuse of the website and for everyones protection.

Your email address will be displayed to the advertiser when you contact them.

 

Inappropriate ads

Inappropriate ads will not be tolerated and any reported listings will be dealt with in a timely manner. We also do random spot checks of all listings and if an ad is found not to meet our terms and conditions it will be removed and the seller suspended permanently. There will be no refunds in this situation.
